As an Engineering Manager, you will supervise a technical team of developers (11 people) and have a central role (70% management and 30% technical) in the quality, performance and evolution of the product.
You are both a manager and a hands-on, and work closely with the Product, Design and Data teams.
YOUR SKILLS- Follow and grow a team of engineers (1:1, support, feedback...)
- Supervise the technical design and the quality of developments
- Actively participate in the technical roadmap and arbitrations with stakeholders
- Encourage good development practices (code review, pair-programming, testing, etc.)
- Collaborate with recruiters to grow the team (interviews, onboarding, etc.)
- Foster communication between teams to ensure alignment
- Be a source of proposals on tools, processes and architecture
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a technical team manager
- A solid tech culture (development, architecture, Git, CI/CD, etc.)
- A scientific background or an equivalent course (engineer, master's, PhD, etc.)
- Knowledge of backend development (Java or Kotlin)
- Very good interpersonal skills and a sense of teamwork
- Fluency in French (C2) and good level of English (B2 minimum)
It would be a real plus:
- Experience with technologies such as Spring Boot, ReactJS, TypeScript, AWS
- DevOps skills: Terraform, Kubernetes
