We are looking for an experienced Network and Security Engineer to join our client’s technical team based in Boulogne-Billancourt. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing, securing and optimizing the network infrastructure in a datacenter environment with strong production constraints.
Main missions:
- Technical management of network equipment (operation, administration and upgrade)
- Problem resolution and improvement of procedures already in place
- Active participation in technical projects (business or internal)
- Drafting of technical documentation and procedures
- Processing requests for IP/DNS creation, opening flows, modifying load balancing
- Network equipment monitoring and incident handling
- Network Fleet Inventory Management
- Intervention outside working hours to be expected (possible on-call duty)
- You will grow as part of a dynamic team and be involved in the cloud transformation of our infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
To be successful in this position, you must master the following technical skills:
- Data Center Network Management - Expertise required in the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructures in a data center environment
- Network Filtering, NAT, VPN - Mastery of filtering, address translation and virtual private network techniques
- Network equipment - Expertise in the configuration and troubleshooting of switches, firewalls, load-balancers, cache proxies, traffic shapers
- DNS Servers - In-depth knowledge of DNS zones and entries
- Monitoring systems and metrology - Ability to set up and manage network monitoring tools
- Scripting - Bash and python skills for automating network tasks
- Network Addressing - Mastery of public/private addressing, mask/broadcast, vlan concepts
- Network Protocols - In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, DNS
