We are looking for a freelance backend engineer (Node.js / TypeScript) for a multi-month assignment within an ambitious tech team. You will be involved in a modern banking infrastructure, around topics related to accounts, cards, transfers, and much more. Your daily life: to evolve a platform in production, to design robust and scalable APIs, to solve architecture challenges, while maintaining a high level of quality (tests, CI/CD, etc.).
YOUR SKILLS- Very good command of Node.js and TypeScript
- Solid experience in designing APIs, SQL databases, and modular backend
- Interest in distributed architectures and event systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc.)
- Familiarity with working with automated testing and continuous integration pipelines
- At ease in demanding environments, where rigor and simplicity go hand in hand
- Fluent English required (international team)
- You are a freelancer and available for a long mission (minimum 3 months)
- You have several successful experiences on high-stakes tech projects
- You like to understand business needs and build sustainable solutions
