JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the 6-person Product/Tech squad, you will work with another back-end developer, two front-end developers, a mobile developer and a Product Manager.
Your main tasks will be :
YOUR SKILLS- Design and develop new back-end functionalities (REST APIs, webhooks).
- Refactor and optimize the performance and scalability of their monolithic API.
- Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy (unit, integration, E2E).
- Work closely with the Product Manager to co-write technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and promote best practices (Clean Code, TDD, DDD).
- Monitor technological developments and propose architecture improvements (e.g. event sourcing, security by design).
- At least 5 years' experience in back-end development, including at least 2 years with a Node.js/Nest framework in production.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, SQL and NoSQL, and REST API best practices.
- Strong quality culture (TDD, Clean Architecture).
- Curious, pragmatic and knowledge-sharing.
- A plus: experience in FinTech or B2B SaaS, or knowledge of micro-entrepreneur status.
- You're passionate about back-end development and want to work in a modern, agile tech environment.
- You're a self-starter who enjoys teamwork, taking on technical challenges and constantly improving the quality of your code.
